America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) is a national organization working to present a unified voice for the insurer community. AHIP’s goals focus on increasing access to quality care for all Americans through a series of proposals and recommendations that address equity, affordability, and quality.

AHIP brings a critical perspective to the National Priorities Partnership, and its representation of the insurer community guarantees the input of a critical healthcare community in the Partenrship's work.

The Campaign for an American Solution is seeking to build support for healthcare reform based on the principles of access, affordability, quality, value, choice, and portability. AHIP believes that our industry represents one point of view, but that in order to realize real reform, Americans need to join in the discussion. The Campaign is designed to facilitate greater participation by citizens across the nation. Over the past several months, the Campaign has visited cities around the country, holding roundtable discussions with uninsured individuals, small business owners, community leaders, and others on the front lines.
